Thursday What's New With You?
Good Morning OFF,
I had one of the most stressful, awful days in months. Turns out my appointments are for today, so I was able to get the cleaning done in the morning and make it to my volunteer job in the afternoon.
Today has me going to the lab and then to the hematologist. Immediately afterward, I must scoot to the podiatrist. I had to reschedule my ENT appointment because of a problem with the referral. Long story.
After the appointments, I must scoot to the agency for the afternoon. Then, after dinner, I am heading to a different campaign office for an evening of volunteering for a presidential candidate.
I really need to get to bed, but I am so wound up, I can't relax. My blood pressure has been high all day. I don't normally have a blood pressure problem, but when it goes up, I feel it.
I hope everyone has a better day than I did Wednesday.

Trish...you sure did have a rough Wednesday!! Take some deep breathes and relax!! Sorry your blood pressure is so elevated.
I got Gracie off to school this AM and I am now having some me time.
We had great time last night. Nic came over and we all made homemade pizzas together. We had a lot of fun!!
Nic also washed and detailed my car. WOW it looks great!! He loves doing that stuff and I ALWAYS let him!!!
Kyleigh wants me to drive to Target with her later. Her mom gave her a gift card and there are some jeans and other things she wants.
Tonight is an easy dinner...TACOs!!
Tomorrow night Grace is going with her dad. I will be leaving early Saturday AM to go back to MN. He hasn't had her all week. She preferred to stay with me. Although she does love her Daddy !! We are all very flexible it our schedules. Travis will be taking Grace to her first Father daughter dance Saturday evening. Actually they are calling it " Papa and Princess Ball". I got her pretty dress and everything all in order. Travis' girlfriend will do Grace's hair. Jackie does a great job with hair!! We have all kinds of pretty things to put in it!!
Jamie will be home late Saturday night. Grace will come back home Sunday about noon. She misses her Mommy!!
I have had such a great week with the kids! I wish I lived closer because I sure have missed them!! This has been such a good week for me. I have been busy but more relaxed then I have in weeks! Mentally I feel sooooo much better. I hate to go back to my sister's.

Good morning Trish and Connie and all my OFF sistas!
I am back home at Hilltop this morning. Yesterday was a long, long day! Had to leave the house spotless, which is hard to do while packing and watching a 2 year old! I finally put Benny in his car seat, started up a movie, and ran back inside to clean the bay window and the glass french doors--covered with sticky fingerprints from You Know WHO!
Anyway, we survived the journey and got here about 8 p.m. Chris got home about 9:30 p.m. and was so excited and happy to see Benny. I don't know what time they went to bed. I conked out early!
Don't have any plans at all for today, besides a quick run to the little local grocery store. It's not much of a store, but it does have eggs and bread and milk. I'll save the trip to the BIG store for another day.
I did something to my shoulder yesterday and I can barely reach for the mouse this morning. Hmmmm. Recovery from my D&C is going well. I never had any pain at all. Just dealing with the aftermath a bit. I hope to hear the biopsy results from my doctor soon, although I feel sure it was all fine. I tried to post a bit about it last week. The doctor did a blood test to see what stage of menopause I am at. She was worried I was having post-menopausal bleeding, which prompted the pre-cancer worries. Also the lining of my uterus was very thick--also unusual for someone my age. Well, the blood test showed that I have NOT even started menopause! Dr. thinks it's due to my weight loss. Estrogen is stored in fat cells, and when I lost all that weight, my body was flooded with extra estrogen. She thinks it has delayed menopause for me. So, asssuming the biopsy comes back normal, I can have the ablation later this fall.
Well, Benny Bop is up and I need to cook some breakfast for my guys. I have been reading and keeping up with you all. Happy to have my computer back again today so that I can post. Love you all!

I am only staying with Grace for a week and I am so exhausted every night. I just fall into bed. However, it is a good kind of tired!! Grace is 5....Benny is 2....I am sure he is even more active then Grace!!

OMGosh, Connie! I think about you all the time. You did that whole year with Grace and I remember so well how tired you were all the time. I surely do empathize with you now! And you did it with fibro, too! You are my hero!
I know you saw the pictures of Benny on FB. He is such a little cutie, but boy, does he ever get into things! I never have a dull moment with him. I tell myself that he will keep me young. :)

Good mornin' ya'll.
Yesterday my cousin's DH passed away. They are the couple who were in FL with their motorhome months ago, when he had a heart attack. Her son flew down to drive them home, they got as far as Nashville and he had another one. The docs there did a bypass on a very fragile Dan who was in no shape for that kind of surgery. They got him home, but he never recovered!! She now thinks she may have to sell their home to pay all of the medical bills! So sad in so many ways.
The dogs are being good. We are all doing the 'doggie dance'. Out and in, out and in. I wish we had a doggie door. At least is good exercise!
I know NOTHING about how my sister is doing!!!! I am sooo frustrated. Her DH and her son do not return my messages. My aunt isn't home and she doesn't have a cell phone. I don't even know what hospital she was/is in! According to the first plan of action she should have been getting out of the hospital and either going home or to a rehab place. The only good thing is, if something awful had happened one of them would have called me.

Carolyn.....I am so sorry to hear that your cousins DH didn't make it. I remember the situation well. So sad for all of them. Prayers for all the family!!
I am sad to hear you haven't gotten any news about how your sister is doing. I think it is awful that they aren't returning your messages. They should know how worried you are about her. I pray you hear something soon!

I am starting Medifast for Gastric bypass so I can get more stable Protien. It is a more balanceed meal plan for us. They have a plan for Gastric by pass. Ill let you know ow it is going in a bit fter I get the details.
I have been home since Early Monday morning and it has been quet. Life has been coming back to some kind of normalcy.
Today has me cleaning out my car from traveling. the kids trashed it!!!!! I finally got the shirt that was blocking the lock in the back door. Carl got it to open. I thought I was going to have to take it to the body shop. but Carl saved the day and got it out. now the door opens.
